Being used to milkytracker, i would like the tick/untick for “Separate edit & play positions (with pattern follow)” to also affect non-pattern follow. I need patterns that don’t scroll, but i also need the playing position to be the same as the edit cursor.
Also, the current tick doesn’t have any effect for me. (Maybe i misunderstood the effect)
The checkbox in the preferences section will make the “currently playing pattern” the active one at all times - you can’t navigate to another pattern than the one playing
Thanks for clarifying. Then i was suggesting the option to have playing and edit cursor split or not, regardless of scroll or non-scroll.
(I guess this will never happen, since it’s only a need understood by people coming from a different tracker environment
