I know that Editstep value became to be not saved as each song setting from 2.7.
But it seem to be forced to back to [Estep=1] always, when I load a song. 
I think it’s something unfriendly…
[EDIT] Ah, sorry. I notice that Octave setting can be saved in the Template Song. I edited the title. But still Edit Step cannot.

It seems that I’m too late to vote +1 to the thread. I’m also used to Estep=0.
I feel very strange to have to install such script tool… (though I thank nism
