REAL AUDIO TRACKS - or I’d better say SIMULATED REAL AUDIO TRACKS - as described by other members is a great need and I think it won’t be too hard for renoise team to add this feature.

why not open up a new voting round after 1.8 is officially out, limit the voting choice between all the stuff that is in the result list right now, delete stuff that is already implemented (like audio recording) and set a final date for when all the votes should be in. That way people who bought renoise after the last voting closed, or because of all the changes in 1.8 (mixer view, tight bpm, audio recording etc) also have a say.
