I recently got renoise, and started messing with it for a few days now… and today i came up with this…humm ok not exactly my first try, but first more or less serious one.
Any crits are more than welcome :]
i hope this isn’t breaking your ears or anything… my headphones are pretty bad so its saturating most of the time for me…
It doesn’t sound bad at the beginning, only when the actual breakbeats get unleashed, it starts to become a turnoff…
Even if the percussion line would fit, the saturation of the kicks and snares imho is spoiling the rest of the show, the contrasts are in that idea way too strong, i’ld at least try to make the drumpart blend into the song more rather than make it a strong foreground object.
i dont have that problem with the drums, its abit short though!

Well just don’t let yourself get influenced by my matter of taste, only pointing out the mix-technical aspect was actually the main highlight for your attention.
