It’s a cliche to say that something sounds like computer game music, and potentially a little insulting, because a piece of music ought to function as a work of art in and of itself.
Still, this would work really well as game music, and I mean that as a compliment! The way it constantly evolves (and “shifts”) whilst sticking to the same chord pattern is one reason. Another is the energetic pitter-patter that runs through the whole song. It would suit an old-school, frantic side-scrolling shoot-em’-up, bullet hell-kind of game. It has kind of an early nineties rave vibe, but in a clean, modern way.
