Great sounds and excellent mix! Superior Drummer is great software, sounds very authentic. And excellent guitar harmonies, well played.

Which part of the song was made with Cubase? Did you have a specific reason to use two DAWs?

Thanks Tom for the kind words. It’s much appreciated.

I did all the hard work in Renoise. I’ve used trackers since the C64/Amiga days, it suits my way of working.

The only reason for using cubase was the drums sounded so much better. I haven’t figured it out yet but it seems SD2 in renoise only triggers the same sample every time, to my ears anyway.
It must be down to me doing something wrong. A very complex set of software tools, but I’m sure I’ll get there in the end.

Cheers.

I am using Addictive Drums, but when I tested Superior Drummer 2.0 it seemed to work fine with Renoise VST plugin. Is the velocity changing sound at all?

With Addictive Drums I have to map manually AD busses to tracks in Instrument Settings. Without that, some drum samples don’t play “long enough”.
