Hello, new in the forum.
Just got a new MacBook Pro since my previous laptop died. Does somebody knows how to switch Fn keys on by default only when using Renoise in macOS Ventura? This was much easier with the Touch Bar version macbooks

I don’t think it’s possible to enable it per app. You can enable direct F-keys on/off, or using FN-modifier. Was always like that. But IMHO not too hard to use fn-modifier for brightness and stuff.
maybe you can create a Shortcut ? (not sure since the mac app is shitty compared to the iphone one)
Thank you for the help. It’s a pity, in my previous macbook pro with touch bar it was possible to configure fn keys to become automatically on in specific apps.

That could be an option. I need to check it, I never used Shortcuts nor have an idea how to use it.
