Just received the Focusrite newsletter, with for once something else than marketing garbage: an announcement for the Scarlett 2nd gen.

On the paper it looks very nice: better converters, preamps, lower latency.
But needless to mention no linux compatibility listed at this stage.

Interesting, will have a better look after work.
Though I have the 6i6 and it’s still running fine.

It looks like Focusrite really did their homework there.
Unless we’re completely mistaken on the measurement method, at 96000Hz, 128 buffer, 3 periods/buffer, you should expect roughly a 2-3 ms latency reduction between v1 and v2.
