I am currently want to dive deeper into Renoise again after maybe a year of pause: So maybe I can say that I see Renoise again like a starter:
What would be imo very very handy is a displaying of the column type the cursor currently is on, only if the cursor approaches the column - until another status appears.
E.g. I have a midi track I made 2 years ago. Now I cannot realize what the second column was in a midi track. And I am looking for midi volume… It would very helpful for novice users: Entering note column, status bar showing “note”, entering volume column, status “volume” entering next column “xxx” and so on…
Maybe the status bar is not the right place for infos like this. But I guess you get the idea.
