"Forcing" instruments to output via a channel

Hi, as per thread title, is there any way within a Renoise Instrument to “force” it to output audio down a particular mixer channel?

The purpose of this is in a setup with Cubase as a Rewire master and Renoise as Rewire slave - using Renoise effectively as an external sampler triggered by Midi from Cubase, then mixing the audio back in Cubase.

Midi is working absolutely perfectly - triggering different instruments on different midi channels and all that, however, all Renoise instruments output their audio via whichever mixer channel is currently selected, making it impossible to route different instruments to different Rewire busses.

Hi,

well, I have never worked with ReWire so I don’t know if it works, but in Plugin Settings you can choose an audio output if you are working with VSTs.

For Samples you can create an empty FX Chain and set the output there.
