Thanks for the feedback. Your version is very nice and there are no problems with copyright.

May I ask a question, which instruments are live and which are sampled or synth?

Thanks ! I reposted your song on my soundcloud page to make it clear for visitors ! :wink:

For the instruments:

  • drums are all samples (very synthetic) except a tiny maracas loop (recorded with my mic, maybe 2 or 4 beats)

  • skank done with fluidsynth piano and live guitar (1 or 2 measures samples)

  • bass live (2 patterns sample)

  • voilin live (with mic)

  • a tiny pad (at 1:15) with zynaddsubfx

I think I didn’t forget anyone…

I rendered all synth tracks to samples, and muted the original ones but let them in place (piano and pad).
