Fractgame.com

http://www.fractgame.com literately is a game world based intirely on sound. Users go through levels solving puzzles and composing patterns in an abstract broken down world reviving old machinery with the sounds they use and compose… This is something I couldn’t watch and not post to my community!!! Instant love !

Sounds interesting, thought it was going to be browser based but only see download links on the page so will try to check it out from home later :)

Yeah it really is… The whole research their doing is staying true to the whole community which is allowing people to learn about it giving it a wider reach. In my opinion this is a VERY good thing, it will get others into the art form and maybe bring some others back that realize its not as hard as they once thought… They link on their page a documentry too thats REALLY GREAT, As they reseach for the game they add links on their site but this one is particularly aweosmeness:[center]

jack dangers (meat beat manifesto) at his studio in the second vid.

You gotta love wires to want to do that sort of stuff.

I love immersion into FPS games, for example, the Portal game, and of course i love synth research and synth based music : I never believed it was possible to combine all this into a single product.

No shit eh! I really never thought how you would go about making it a game, to be honest I made my own game out of it already to begin with which is basically what Renoise did for me and still does!

Maybe I don’t get something about it but it looks like it’s just some logical game where sounds accompanies things you do. Sure it looks nice but what’s so genius about it?
