Cool vid. The reason why one shouldn’t replace the valves is because it is not easy to place new ones in it without contaminating the glass shell with your fingers. Poluted glass shells will have a lower life expectation and may even burn out the component if heavily poluted.

The heat not being able to dissipate, if they don’t die out, it still may affect the signal outpu.
But i’m not sure how much heat the valves produce these days.
