don’t know if this is relevant for other users but lately i’m building a collection of renoise instruments. Often they contain really simple
sample content like single-cycles and drum hits but they are heavily based on dsp’s. wouldn’t it be cool to have an fx insert chain on instrument level
so you can save everything in one instrument? it would also free up some space in the mixer because those instruments are often based on lots of lfo/eq/filters/signalfollower/verb etc…
and tend to clutter mixer view.
has been requested before.
afaik, the devs are looking into the .xrni (renoise instrument) format, and lots of changes are planned. this is probably one of them.
