When you have one frequency that just need a little tuning, it seems using a filter3-device would be THE way to go instead of using a EQ-5/10.
The only thing missing is the same gain control as the lowpass / highpass modes have. For bandpass, another useful parameter would be initial level, in essence optionally turning the filter into a notch device.
