it may interest you to know, i heard the bassline sequences in my head in the shower, got out and made a few phrases.
i sat down and began to write in the song comments section of the .xrns, recorded a single vocal take with just the bassline and drums, and built the rest of the arrangement around the vocals themselves. it’s really meant as a written piece, just felt it’d be interesting to release it in “song” format!
other influences were boards of canada (of course)
