I warned him, he challenged me so i granted his two weeks silence. Taktik coincidentally made a parallel decision in Lilli’s own song-posting thread but Taktik has chosen for a permanent posting lock. I don’t override that decision.
I did not got bothered by his behavior either, but that still does not mean someone should be allowed to behave like that.
He was not only rude during reviews. He was actually also getting personal on other members which is way out of leage. He had quite a few warnings from moderators and admins.
Being blunt in a review is not really a thing to ban someone for but if you expand your hars and unfounded critics all over the place, then there are better places to be for these kind of things. Not the Renoise forum.
Yeah, I am completely aware of that. I was just not getting into that stuff at all: I wasn’t claiming he got banned for his reviews, all I was trying to say is that, although I appreciate blunt honesty and objective criticism, he was not really good at this either, as his “expert opinion” was not that expert at all and often it was motivated by some emotional aspects based on earlier confrontations with the author of the track.
