Hey there guys!! I’m working at this myself too as I am an artist but I wanted to put a call out to us here aswell. What im looking for is a skeleton of a fish in a evil style (8bit Maybe?), particularly with a X for the eye/eyes… It’s for my 8bit project d0p3f15h. The style of music is kind of harsh IDM-ie 8bit chipcore approach. I have some ideas that im getting out in photoshop and gimp right now but I wanted to see if maybe someone else could pull it off aswell and maybe even better than I could ever do. It would be a BIG help… I will be using it for my album so not only should it contain the evil looking fish bones but maybe a “dope fish” around it as well as a logo for my artist name. =)
Here is an example of a track that will be on my forthcoming EP… It’s unmastered but maybe it will give some insperation as to the style…

When you guys are ready helping niNja_pWn3d, then let me hijack this thread with an artist request as well. I have recently set-up a bandcamp page, but I still need to have my artist name in the top banner (inside the scope: http://plugexpert.bandcamp.com/ ), so I’m looking for a font maestro.
Preferably in a cool 3d graffiti style, but I leave anyone free to their own taste! If anyone is up for it, getting ‘jonas the plugexpert’, ‘jonas’ or ‘plugexpert’ in it (whatever fits best ), you can find the background banner here:
Nah nothing really…Keep it to 4 colors max really. I would never limit creativity, when I had jobs they were jobs and had limitations… i dont look at this as a job… more as a favor. Just be creative and lets see what we can do with this =) I want to add it as my banner to bandcamp aswell.
As far as shape though when I think about it THIS is a good example… Maybe the text can be incorperated like THIS even? I also like the idea of the skeleton bending like the letter C with the tail at the bottom and the head at the top type thing? These are all just ideas… Sorry for the late reply I have some family that were victums of the HORRIBLE RIOT in van due to some retarded hockey game… I will keep my ideas coming as I think about it!!!

I’m just browsing google images really. I dont expect that they look like that just some ideas that looked cool for some ideas as far as concepts like I said. I have some sketches that i briefly drew in Gimp that i’ll post when I get home =) This is really appreciated that others have shown intrest, so thank you =)
you should read some of the other stuff on that site, some of it is just as awesome imo.

Actully that’s pretty good Jonas, It would match with your backkground on Bandcamp too =) I could rework the image if I had dupoxy’s permission and add in some Graf style typestes?

Thanks mate, cheers for the effort! Like what you did with the dc offset line, working it through the words. Was something I was thinking about too. To have a waveform more or less transform into the words, but more dramatically done in my imagination. I think I like it pushed more though, especially in the color department.
I have had a wall mural piece done using my alias in an oldschool 80’s graffiti form (present from girlfriend), black and white. Maybe I can take a picture, and it can be enhanced in the computer? Unfortunately I don’t have a camera anymore, but it could be an option.
The more I read my old moniker though, the more I cringe …maybe it needs to be just Jonas, or done in such a newschool graffiti way the name is hard to read lol
So yeah, sorry for the self indulgence shit here, if anyone is serious in picking this up or do try outs for fun, don’t feel shy to pm me the results!
Hey Kyle, thanks for the ideas, it’s good to see some direction. Of course this is just fun, but it’s way easier to adhere to restrictions in the creating process instead of trying to adjust to them later.
For example, I had a completely different approach in mind, which doesn’t match your suggestions at all. But I still like to show it, because it was fun doing it
