I think it would be good if the entries in the effect plugin list would have different grey colored backgrounds (or colors).
Middle grey for all favorites, light grey for all natives and white for au /vst. Or just modulating grey/white: white favorites, grey natives, white au, grey vst .
Could be much more easy to quickly find the right section. to be honest I every time do not find the right category first.
