$200

which is funny bc it’s a french state-funded enterprise, if I’m not mistaken

to my ear, it doesn’t sound particularly groundbreaking, at least not from the andy huang vid

not to be a hater lol, but it’s not for me i guess

perhaps, but he seems plenty smart and had it for a few months prior to release I think.

idk, I’m sure it’ll be a lot of fun for some, but i’ll not likely drop coin on it

to each their own

As a french guy, I can confirm INA is a state funded enterprise here. It’s main purpose (or at least what it’s most known for here in France) is archiving audio-visual content, they are ā€œfamousā€ for putting on youtube all kinds of old footage, it’s a gold mine on that

Sorry for this off-topic lol

Gaz did an interview with them recently:

Honestly, it would be great if Taktik took a look at similar plugins and created a few extensions for sound control, adding the ability to generate different waves in scripts.

He’s got reach and they want to sell units!

Yes that would be very cool

i guess he is always free for hire and loplop markups are too high :upside_down_face:

hate all that ā€œinfluencerā€ marketing

Hey Huang, I noticed my last message might have bothered you. I was wondering what issues came up that prevented a smooth showcase of the new GRM tools?

Wish I had that 17 minutes back… All that GUI for soundFX generation? Been done billions of times before, not many sounds I could not do using Bidule & a handful of synths… It may be good as BG for horror flicks or porno but so far few of the sounds will ā€˜fit’ inside a composition… A new tool for the ā€˜infants mobile’ above the crib fascination toy…

Well, for GRM I think it’s hard to beat what they made in the past but I think the current product is way less useful but the earlier stuff was quite innovative-
