Suggestion:
How about implementing some kind of icon/ticker on each group in the scopes, so you can decide whether or not to display the subtracks in the scopes (for each group)?
I would find this very handy, as I often don’t need to see all the subtracks up there, which often gets a bit to messy/overcrowded.
