hi, please could we get a differentiation between a “step of data” which has a NoteOff than a “step of data” which has a Note On?

What if the track contains multiple note columns with a mixture of note on and note off events - which should take priority?
To be perfectly honest, the only intention behind this feature is to show you that something is happening on that particular line. It was never intended to show any kind of meaningful details beyond that. There are simply too many variables at play.
