Ive been mastering and sometimes mixing down tracks in Reaper, but this one was giving me trouble, and anyway Ive been unhappy with the Ozone as a set-and-forget master channel solution, not to say its bad or anything I just want mroe control. Then Reaper kept crashing so I just thought, why not just, do what i was gonna do in Reaper to the .xrns? ANd I did, and more, lots of experimenting routing the different sounds. My idea is why use multiband-anything, when i can make sends for all the bands and do whatever to each individually? The only thing I put on the master channel is a <30hz and >20khz shelf EQ. I think Ill be doing it this way from now on.
