Sod it. I might just get a controller with a million knobs on it and link up EVERYTHING.

I discovered the midi learn thing in renoise by mistake the other day. How well does this work? The pop up says to move the hardware SLOWLY, in order for it to be connected. I guess it is not perfect yet? Or is this par for the course?

Nah, you twist the controller at any speed and it maps it. Done.

any speed btw, I used a joypad before that sends values that jump between 0 and 127 (no movement in that sense) and it works.
