High Frequency hearing test. How well do you do?

fuck all those test tones not compensating loudness impression vs amplitude. I swear, they just want to blow your ears, to sell more hearing aids.

Unfortunately my results are about the same on that video.

Afaik you lose higher frequencies as you grow older independent of your listening habits whereas e.g. listening to a lot of loud base sounds gives you a bump in this area…?

(a friends doctor called the second one a “disco curve”. :p)

Wow today I can hear up to 14,2kHz on both ears! Also no more bumps around 9-10kHz. But now around 11-12 kHz the right ear can hear better. Seems to change a lot over time :blink:

Left ear 14.5kHz

Right ear 13.5kHz (maybe I shouldn’t sleep on my right ear)
