How do I import midi files without adding a new "midi instr.", keeping the old vst instrument?

Yes? :grimacing: I tried loading with options and de-selecting create instr.midi, etc, but no luck?

I have the need to go trough many midi files, chord progressions, to be exact.

You’re out of luck. Renoise is not MIDI-file friendly
