I want to switch between two effect presets during a pattern, how do I go about doing this?

There is no command to load a preset. You would have to set every single parameter that changes in the Automation section.

you probably already know. but you could put the effect in the chain twice with both presets, then turn on and off each one respectively.

Ok, thanks guys. Yeah, I thought of loading another device and disabling/enabling the two.
Switching between presets should be considered implemented.

Preset switching isn’t automatable on just about any host I have ever used as it is very likely to cause audio clicks on a lot of devices. Not something I personally think should be implemented for these reasons.

If that is indeed the case, then it is an obvious reason not to do it. If, however, it could be done in a decent way, it is absolutely something that should be considered.
