i’m trying to replicate a very specific feature of certain devices, which will make a sample only play on the 4th replay. how do i make this happen, please? Y50 is all about probability so it won’t necessarily hit on the 4th.
i’d really like to not have to make a long phrase out of this or make a 64 row pattern a 256 row pattern just so the sample would play on the 4th “play”.
what’s the right way, renoisewise?
Instead of using Yxx it may be easier to accomplish that by using a volume stepper in the modulation section of your instrument.

ok, got it working. gonna incorporate this into the Paketti Default XRNI instrument, and add some shortcuts for creating variations of this.
