i’m working on a LPB4 track.
i wanna put in LPB16 L00 LC0 on selected track Master Track, using a phrase.
how do i accomplish this kind of 4x resolution L00 / LC0 gating?
Would it work to use velocity 80 and 00 for the gating?
mm, well, see, what i was hoping to do was slam LC0/L00 gating on the master track, but really fast. so like ultra-fast volume gapping/gating on the Master track. i’m not sure if this can be done, without me modifying the pattern from LPB4 to LPB16 which is also kinda not what i’m after.
any pointers would be appreciated?

Easy peasy, if you’re open to using this doofer

Just slap it on your master channel, make sure the play sync knob is up past 50%, and dial in your preferred rate
You can also edit the lfo behavior to your taste, and affect the volume shaping characteristics as you see fit. You might need to turn the offset knob to zero and makeup to 6 db, as well, for a clean, full gate

thanks! i’ll give it a whirl when i’ve properly rested after my worktrip, am on the cab home.
btw, i finished going through all the 7361 “Ideas and Suggestions” from 2002-2024 May - it was quite a tour through the general Renoise user psyche.
found lots of really interesting stuff, scripted some, the rest are on my todolist.
in the end i kept 1736. this is gonna be a long couple of years.
