How to override MIDI keyboard velocity with Renoise's global veloc

Is it possible to override the MIDI keyboard notes velocity with Renoise’s global velocity?

I wish any MIDI notes originating at my MIDI keyboard were inserted onto the pattern editor obeying the global velocity adjustment.

To be honest, I’m unsure of what the global velocity adjustment is, but you can turn off the recording of velocity information in edit>preferences>midi. Just untick it.

I like the idea - but it’s not something you can currently do without processing the MIDI somehow (before it enters Renoise, or via a tool)

I’m definitely putting this on my list of ideas for the Duplex keyboard :slight_smile:
