Can I remove all unused volume values for an entire track or a selection, i.e. volume values without a note in front of them? Volume values with a note should not be deleted.
yeah, just select the volume values and delete them, I usually use a tool for that or just alt+a (or alt+z) and delete them.
But I don’t want to have to select them individually if there are volume entries with notes in between that should remain untouched.
Use this tool;Clear Junk Data | Renoise
It lets you clear orphaned stuff that isn’t connected to note events. Once installed, you can find the tool in the right mouse click window in the pattern editor. Use the meta toggle to clear teh volume stuff.
Thank you. That helps a lot!
Set your cursor on the verry first line of the volume column
Press and hold : Alt+Shift ( fine selection ) , press up arrow ( this will take you straight to the end of the pattern by wrapping around )
Now the whole volume column is selected , in less then a second .
