As per screenshot, it don’t make sense, could it be a VST or something that was Intel that comes with Renoise? I got a warning for Renoise that intel support was ending, but as clear in the image it says renoise is a Apple silicon program running.
I think because Renoise still provides Intel plugin bridging, so also comes with an Intel code part, and even though it is not used, geniuses at Apple will warn you that they will soon turn 2 billion computers into useless junk (if you don’t know how to install Linux).
what does that mean in the future of renoise if parts of the program still use intel and apple will eventually get rid of it? Looking into this though sounds like I don’t need to worry until the end of 2027 when they phase Rosetta 2 out completely.
I guess then the Rosetta 2 component of macOS simply will stop working on the recent macOS, and nothing needs to be changed from Renoise side…? The plugin server then will not load anymore, if it runs in bridged mode. Only an assumption.
Only time will tell I guess, I will wait towards end of 2027 and see what happens.

I think that warning is misleading. It doesn’t make sense to no longer start an app because it ALSO contains an Intel based version, in addition to the ARM one, but yes, Apple always is known for surprises here.
Yeah I have not had the warning since, it leads me to think theres a stock VST or something most likely.
