I have windows 11 pro, startup problem renoise, keep searching for vst

Windows 11 has some specific (I say “stupid”) issues with permissions inside the Program Files directory. Rather than risk getting you into a bigger mess I’m not going to try and fix that for you via forum posts.

I truly think it’s best to just reinstall Renoise, but I did find this note:

“The plugin [that] failed during startup should be blacklisted on next startup, so in theory, you simply have to restart Renoise many times, until it loads completely.”
source: Launching Renoise without scanning for plugins - #2 by toimp

And again - you could reinstall Essence just so that you can properly uninstall it.

Please, don’t manally add or remove things from inside Program Files unless you know what you’re doing… despire the best will in the world it can get ugly :frowning:
