I would like to hear your music made with Renoise or other Daws

@ Fabrice
Nice melody! You should turn it into a song. I’d see that with some violin and a bassline but I’m sure you will come up with something interesting

Back to some Trance!

Nice idea but as is, its like you have 3 different openings merged into the same song it does not feel like one song.

Thanks, interesting! This time I thought more about a piano solo song to make it very simple. I want to search for variations into chords and melodies.

You are not so far from giving true professional harmonies

A little effort in the air

@Tall_TeQ : Thanks man!

@stoiximan : Yes there is a lot going on in this song. Maybe the breaks should be less abrupt. I will see.

Perhaps you would enjoy some break mangling?

Nice!!! I dont know how you guys can work at such high speeds and get so good results.I guess practice makes perfect

A simple tune made with something else than a tracker.
I am one happy MPC customer since update 2.10.

Awesome! So all the tone generation is only those both synths? Or does the MPC generate audio, too? Or is it remote controlling Ableton over there?

Nice!!Also looking at Akai stuff mainly the Force

MPC One:

  • 1 Instance of Drum Synth
  • 2 Instances of Hype Synth (Choir-esque sound + Arp)

Novation Summit:

  • used in Single Mode (Pads)

Behringer Model D:

  • 3 slightly detuned Saw OSC (Sustained Bass)

Ableton is merely used as a multi-track recording tool, so that i had three individual stems

  • MPC One Output
  • Summit Output
  • Model D Output

Like many of us nowadays, i sometimes enjoy turning off the PC to write music. For me it’s not because i feel let down or uninspired by Renoise in any way, it’s more like a breath of fresh air, fanned by a different - not better - workflow.
It’s a bit like leaving the luxury limousine where you have all the well known convience installations and jump in into a bare-bone roadster, with no heated seats, AC or even servo control. both can be fun. both have their benefits.

i’ve seen you writing about it the other day. i can definately only encourage you to do it.
i bought the MPC about 1,5 years ago. at that time, i have had never heard about the force. meanwhile i believe, that i’d go for force instead of mpc, due to better arranger / ableton-esque clip launcher workflow.

Simplicity rules, I really dig that style. Flawless tune. :+1:

This is cool. You could use it as an intro for a longer song, you can use it as it is as a short piece of music or you can turn it into something. Similar like Icepower I can imagine it having some strings, pads and yes, also a soft beat and a bass if you want to turn it into something.

This music style requires high speed.

IDM with pretty keyboards. Started it last weekend and finished it over the past couple of days. Ended up doubling the main polysynth part using Massive X and the new version of TAL Noisemaker, panned hard left and right.

Splendid work especially on the glitchy drums.

I’ve moved across the country and I sold my big speakers in order to replace them with smaller ones, since I’m in a smaller room now (the long term plan is to buy a much bigger house with room for a proper studio). Whilst waiting for the new monitors to arrive I am forced to mix on headphones, so I have no idea how this will sound on a proper stereo. .

This is the first song I’ve made in a while without any outboard gear. I hope it’s not just a big muddle!

Hi,

Not very new, but now mastered and arranged into a single. I used Renoise + some external VST synths.

Mix is clear but it is missing the punch on the low end and maybe you over did it with the stereo field a bit but i am sure when you mix it in speakers you will fix it

Thank you. I always appreciate you response :slightly_smiling_face:. Maybe in future I will add vocals to my synthwave songs, I dont know any vocalists in that style now. But I’m making a reggae album with vocals now
