Nice drones, would you mind explaining the chain a little more in detail (patchbay?mixer?)

Thanks and certainly! Though itās nothing special.
The two TD-3s come in on their own channel into Renoise.
One channel gets a delay, limiter, phaser, delay, flanger, delay, limiter. All with ridiculous high amounts of feedback.
The other just gets a high feedback delay into a limiter, I think?
Really quite simple
@TheBellows Much improved!! The guitar and everything else really sounds better and tighter. If think if you wanna push this even further you can do some hard panning on the guitars. That will allow some of them to be a tad louder. Cause the opening guitar remains kind of loud through out. That Might not be necessary. Reducing that one and bringing up the different guitars could work, maybe. Here itās really getting into taste & preferences areas. But I could see a bit more volume automation and letting different instruments in the different sections stand in the spotlight take this track up another level. Good stuff as it is though!
@sun Your vocal trance gives me real old school vibes, think Dune. Itās sweet little track. The vocals add a lot. Well done!
@Agentslimepunk Your production skills are fantastic. Itās really tight and good sounding. Musically the first minute or so didnāt really grab me. But then it comes to life with the arpeggio followed by the glitchy drum patterns. Thatās really rather excellent. The break feels a bit unnecessary there for me. We only just got going. But the part after the 2nd mini break is sweet as is the outro. Lovely stuff! Very well done!
thanks , it seems iāll always stay old school no matter how hard i try to get out of it
maybe because i like that mood very much
I did a techno jam with a few hardware synths. Itās raw, gritty and monochrome:
Mild flashing lights warning:
Nothing wrong with doing what you like. But treading new ground is also good.
Nice!!! Have you played the game Singularity?
That is what i like about you and if you ask me i take old school from what we hear in todayās mainstream music
Wow, thanks so much for the in-depth review and critique! Composition is definitely the hardest part for me
Thanks! Unfortunately no, I donāt really have gaming capabilities (low-budget setups only!) but I use random words most of the time because naming tracks is difficult
Hi! I published a new album. Hope everybody is doing great!
Strange jazz stuff and i like it.Nothing can beat real instruments and real players!!Most tracks could be used for soundtracks in movies.
thanks stoiximan
Good stuff @jspreis! Like stoiximan said already, very cinematic. I like the dissonances in track 6 a lot. Did you release something similar sounding a few months back / posted it here in the thread? Maybe Iām confused and actually was someone else. Anyway, neat stuff!
@Koneet Thatās an awesome video! For are all itās inherent dangers & problems, the AI revolution does also open a lot of creative doors. Very cool.
The tune is cool, too, btw. Iām kind of torn between thinking it needs a bit more crunch in its sound design and saying itās fine. There is quite a bit of tension in the music, which is good! And Iām worndering would the tune improve if the sounds also got a bit edgier at those moments? Iād be inclined to distort things but that might also be informed by your visuals. That robot steel looks pretty menacing. And your track doesnāt sound like robot steel to me.
Anyway, your video does its job. Listened to your track 4 times in a row while looking at the pictures. Very well done indeed!
A singing spaceship you got there my friend ,also Renoise always looked like a spaceship to me and i was afraid to touch it ,but one day i desided that i will learn to fly it and that was one of the best decisions i made in my life!!
This whole album I made and mixed in Renoise, plus a couple of VSTs.
