As seen in the WIP thread, here’s some guitar synth stuff straight in your face:

Steel, fire, workout and power. :wink:

Beautiful. No notes. Chefs kiss. Etc.

What a belter. Driving fast through sun bleached streets in the early evening. Nice one.

Did you change its name in “Pyongyang”? What I really like about the composition are the high synths at 2:33, which is a great addition to the other instruments. Well done! But you could bring them earlier imo. Anyway, nice instrumentation overall. I think this is my favorite of yours, but I can’t remember them all.

I especially dig “That Man I Am”, which sounds like a mixture of “Sapiano and the Partycrashers”, “Wishmountain” and “Planet Jazz”. Great groove and sounds! I also like “deep stuff” like “Subtle Shuttle”. Those type of chords never get old, and the whole song could have been a good opener for Väth’s Clubnights in the late 90s and early 00s. And “Intricate Advocate” is the best dancing tune from the album, good energy.

@Agentslimepunk
I especially like the sounds at the beginning. If this style is still “Breakcore”, it might be one of the best Breakcore tunes I know. But probably you already know that I’m not a fan of weird beats, regardless if it’s Breakcore or something else. So if I dig something that has that style, it means something. :sweat_smile:

My second synthwave album. Mainly because synthwave is my side project I spent several years collecting tracks for this album. :wink:

Your style is very consistent. You could easily merge all your stuff on Bandcamp and make a 12 track album out of it. Laserdance vibes all over the place. But you also manage to put some “pink cotton ball flavor” into it. It’s hard for me to name a favorite from your album, but I can name my favorite of your Synthwave tracks, which is Overtaking, followed by Hometown Memories.

What’s your main project?

Thanks! The title was originally Pyongyang and I renamed it to Kim Jong-un when I uploaded it. Someone said I can also call Adolf Hitler then :sweat_smile:, that’s why I renamed it again. I think Pyongyang fits and I’m currently trying to build a video for the track. Not sure yet about the kick… I think it’s a bit too heavy, but on headphones it sounds great.

Also had the same thought about the pad, but I decided to slowly bring in new elements.

Thank you, TNT! I like Overtaking and Hometown Memories too! Hmm, maybe it’s good idea to make smth longer! But, I work really slow, so it would probably take a lot of years for me finish the album :smile:

I mainly make reggae/dub :slightly_smiling_face:

@cantti
Reggae/Dub and Synthwave, that’s a pretty interesting combination. :slightly_smiling_face:
But you know how to handle both styles. Your Dub style somehow sounds familiar, I guess that Ive heard something before.

Next time “Robert Habeck” or “Heizungshammer”. :laughing:
