Thanks stoiximan, i try not to think too much, just let things flow and it just fall into place somehow. I choose a color to set the mood, then mix in some burnt sienna and yellow ochre, then i can start to play with some brighter colors and suddenly i have painted a whole song.

I do the same and i always start with a blank template no plugins nothing at all.THis way i am free to do anything i want without falling to the same stuff over and over again.

Is there anybody out there starting with a template including plugins? Isn’t it always a “blank template”? In my case for sure, but nevertheless I love doing “the same stuff” over again, it has to be the right music style.

I don’t know for how long you’re creating music now, but I created every style you can imagine in my first decade of making music. Now it’s time to focus on 2-3 styles. I could listen to Elektro and Synthwave all day long, I would never be bored. If you’re getting bored, you may could finish the singing part, you know what I mean?

I am like 3 years now making music but not very often thats why i haven’t progressed my skills, too many personal problems prevents me for doing that.About that singing i dont know when or if i ever finish it,i am pretty sure i havent sang anything since you send me the stems and thats a very long time but that is me i am kind of a strange person i must be in a certain mood to finish anything.
THat is Lilith Sternin Frasiers ex wife. If you like comedy shows Frasier is one of the best of all time,look for it you will not be disappointed

Not saying that there aren’t circumstances beyond our control, but nevertheless, we have agency to exercise in most every aspect of our lives, should we choose to use it.
At the end of the day, excuses are just that, and please understand I have made many excuses for myself over the years. Life is short enough that it only makes sense to go after the things you think you want, see if you can get them, recognize that ultimately it makes no difference, lather, rinse, repeat, merge into the universe at the end.
Our smallness serves no one, least of all ourselves. The world only benefits from you striving to become your best self.
