I would like to hear your music made with Renoise or other Daws

Nope, this is Cyberpunk. Not even close to Electro. Anyway, good track! And you did a really good job on mix and master. Sounds great on speakers as well as on headphones. :slightly_smiling_face:

@stoiximan:
Go and get Sylenth1, itā€™s worth every cent.

I know i have it, i just couldnt get it to run in LInux but since a few days back i got it working

Your main problem,Garf,is that your sound is always ā€œagressiveā€

In my advice, you should make a more ā€œroundedā€ sound

@TNT Hahā€¦ yeah I donā€™t know genres  Good to hear it translate well on speakers because I havenā€™t heard it on anything but headphones and decent car radio speakers  Canā€™t wait for the day when Iā€™m settled down with proper speakers.

@Tall_TeQ Itā€™s a choice for the time being and certainly not a problem as we all have different taste, anyway I make lots of other genres and plan to make house/synthwave stuff after I finish my little ā€œStay Positive/Fighting/ā€¦ā€ series which indeed is a bit aggressive/dark/dystopian, when Iā€™m done after 6 songs Iā€™ll wrap it up and change theme/mood.

When I say ā€œagressiveā€,Itā€™s a question of transients,frequenciesā€¦
Listening via headphone hurt

Solve the problem and you will reach the next levelšŸ™‚

So you mean harsh frequencies I suppose and yes I know especially the last two minutes can be hard a little hard on the ears if listening loud, I finished this song about two months ago already and I know it sounds crazy but in this short period I have improved my mixing by a lot regarding harsh frequencies so I look forward to release my next song which should be a level up

According to this you know how oldschool Electro sounds like, and you already listened to some of my Electro tracks. You can also listen to some Electro mixes (several Electro styles included, such as Electro, Electro Bass, Electro Funk or else) and you also know how modern Electro sounds like. And you know Kraftwerk, the founder of Electro, no doubt about it. Or Paul Hardcastle, an Electro Funk icon of the 80s.
Just make sure not to confuse with a sort of Techno, which some call ā€œElectroā€ for no reason.

Where are you going?

It doesnā€™t sound crazy. If you get to know about things it happens really quick. Small things such like the monoizer, the mono mix or some parallel processing ā€œtricksā€ make the difference. But I dontā€™t think ā€œStay Fightingā€ sounds harsh. Itā€™s good for me, no earache here, not even by listening to it loud via headphones. There are a lot of artists who sound way more harsh than this. :slightly_smiling_face:

Great, you will have some fun for sure! This is my favorite VST. You can do A LOT of different type of sounds with it, and itā€™s not that complicated to handle. And if something turns out not to work properly or causes any problem, Lennar will be there for you. Really good customer support.

The Philippines once they lift their covid-19 lockdown :sunglasses: :sun_with_face: :palm_tree:

Sylenth1 is awesome, itā€™s my most used synth.

You swap home with the middle of nowhere? Is there a place on earth except Polynesia which is more far away? I wish you luck. At least it isnā€™t purely islamic and itā€™s an english speaking country, but also very poor and corrupt. Are you really sure that you thought about your move more than enough? Anyway, itā€™s your life. :slightly_smiling_face:

Same here.

I have been there many times and I love it, sure there is some crime and corruption holding them back but itā€™s an amazing country regardless and I canā€™t wait to get back to be honest. Oh and best of all they have lots of palm trees, just a shame you prefer Miami palm trees

Honestly I prefer Polynesia palm trees. This is one of my two faraway places in the world I always wanted to see, but I know it never gonna happen. Itā€™s too far away. Yes, If you want to move to a place which is that far away you will have some good reasons. I just canā€™t imagine moving to a country ruled by some armed clans. And thereā€™s also a terror group. But you have already been in the country, I wasnā€™t. You can go on vacation in Polynesia when youā€™re living in the Philippines. :upside_down_face:

Just the regular trippy dubstep techno chiptune.

hereā€™s a soundtrack I made for a surf film festival. Itā€™s a bit old now - but Iā€™m dipping back into Renoise and thought Iā€™d share! We also made video.

awesome tune, very ā€˜hugeā€™ in many aspects!

great tune, iā€™d make some spatial image variations, seems like itā€™s all in same virtual spot. Great arrangement and form as well!

that sub is kinda iritating (sorry, personal preference) initial bass is way cooler for this tune. I like overall production, both stereo imagery and space. Great choice of instruments

I think you have reason
the sub is too ā€œlinearā€
And It ā€œeatā€ the others tracks

But this track prove that TechincallyYes has a good technic for bassā€¦loudness
