If the buttons on the bottom had the text replaced with color icons, there could be dozens of buttons at the bottom (like Advanced Edit which was recently moved), and then also have access to all of those same options via the pulldown menus at the top for those getting used to where everything is.
The use of color in the interface, particularly icons, could make things much easier to find.
This topic about organizing your instruments Reminded me how nice it would be if you could color the instruments.
The color would than appear both in the pattern and in the instrument list.
I also still miss a an icon next to the instrument name with which you could mute/solo instruments and an light blinking as the instrument is played. (Useful to see if the instrument is used or not and cool.)
