Let’s face it. IE (especially IE6) is a pain in the ass and while M$ forces users to install WGA or other useless stuff, the IE is not an important update. On the other hand it’s not too hard to write cross-browser websites. Just use conditional comments or “* html .class hacks” and for transparent PNGs you can easily add the DXFilter like this one in CSS

Most “errors” in IE are only in connection with “margin”…

But okay, it sucks to write everything “special” for an outdated browser.

It’s not hard? Hey, in theory it’s simple and yes I am aware of most if not all of the IE bugs. But in practice it gets much worse than this.

I said not “too hard” But of course I am aware that iE sucks. Just because designers have to bugfix the browser with non-standard-css…
