If moving automation device to another track, all automation is lost. Should keep automation in any case of moving.

Where does that happen, in the automation editor? Or are you talking about the automation parameters within the tracks?

Something strange also happens with selection and drag and drop. Note that there is a effect column visible:

If you move an instrument automation device which has automation editor recording on sliders to another track, those recordings of sliders will be gone. It shoudn’t. Instead you still can be delete the automation later, but I cannot really think of such a scenario.

I don’t mean moving pattern data.

Do you use “cut and paste” the device? With “copy and paste” the device the same thing happens. It should also copy the automation data.

In fact, is there a way to transport the automation editor data from one track to another? It appears this is not covered.
