80s and 90s hands down. The 2000s had almost nothing to offer, aside from breakcore, which also existed in the 90s… and anything before the 80s was really just a precursor to good music.
I would have chosen 60s and 70s, but voted 60s and 80s because I love the haircuts of the 80s. Anyway the 60s and 70s is golden era for me, it was back when music was music and singers could sing.
Exactly this is the reason I chose 80’s and 90’s. I love the music of Elvis but I am a Goonie at heart. I grew up with classical stuff like back to the future and had the luck to listen to really experimental stuff. The 80’s were the time I was a small kid and listened to everything at radio. When I was older in the 90ies I chose to listen to electronic stuff all over and over again. People like KLF, Dune, Charlie Lownoise, Mental Theo, Radical Rhythms (especially DAC and Knuddel) had a huge impact in my musical-taste.
