Import Midi: First Instrument Shows Sample Tab, Should Show Midi

Maybe it’s the same bug:

  1. If you load a midi file (yes this works in Renoise), the first instrument will be a sample, but should be also a midi instrument.

  2. If the template song is loaded at start or new song, the saved selected instrument will be a sample, no matter if it’s a sample or not. If you select then another instrument and then selected the first selected instrument, the type will now be correct.

  3. If you load a midi file (yes this works in Renoise), the other instruments a plugins, I guess they should be ext. midis?

Hello Jurek,

it’s not a sample, but Renoise shows the sample tab for the instrument after the import, until you’ve selected a new instrument.
So this actually only is a small visual quirk?

Yes, it seems to be a visual quirk with the template, but it’s continuously a sample when importing midi. So maybe two bugs at once?

And it’s of course only a cosmetic problem.
