Import Midi - Merge with existing Song

Not much of a bug or something …but I was wondering if it is possible to import a midi file into an existing project …instead of just opening a midi file

  1. import midi into new file
  2. save new file
  3. xrns_merge.php old file with new file

Well I could just as easilly copy paste betweeen 2 renoise instances ,
…so the short answer is a no I presume ?

The short answer is no indeed, but copy and paste between Renoise would take you a little longer unless the MIDI song you want to merge only has one pattern.
