The behaviour i’m talking about is that when you insert an off command in a column it automatically deletes another off command further down the column if no note is triggered in between. I guess the idea is that if you enter an off command the second off command won’t have any effect anyway, but that is not the case when working with maYbe commands.
I like to use random offs, they’re especially useful for decreasing the chance of other notes to play and i often use more than one off command in a column.
I’d vote for removing this behaviour, what do you think?
You’re using the “Smart Note Off” function, which is by default mapped to CapsLock (and A). This function deletes any additional note offs that are no longer needed, although it does not currently take into account other commands like maYbe.
You can use the regular “Note Off” function instead, which does not delete any other note offs. Simply re-map it to CapsLock instead if you prefer it.
