Installing A Vsti : Vsti / Rtas / Au / Standalone Or All ?

Hello :)

Well as i am not sure, and always installing all options, i was wondering if it is enough to just install the VSTi option instead of all (rtas, etc…) using a pc.

it depends on which application you use for composing.

if you only use Renoise, then installing only VST is enough. RTAS is for ProTools users only. The standalone may be useful if you plan to use only that software or to connect it to other applications via MIDI.

Au is for mac so you don’t have to install that one too.
