So please , please please …give us the option to make it pre envelope.

yes , but NOT in renoise’s case , the sample always first go trough the amp .envelope then trough the filter/drive
That’s why the drive parameter shapes the amp. envelope’s curve , which is something we don’t always want .
So I am all in for a user configurable routing …
