Hello, I don’t make many posts (im basically a lurker, and consider myself far to lazy to get involved in typing messages on bb`s). I’ve been registered from 1.8 and have always considered Renoise to be my favourite creation tool (after all I did (kicking and screaming) move to the PC from the Amiga (MED got me started into these tracker things.)

So why the post, well I just started to play around with the 2.1 beta’s and am totally blown away with what I can now do with the rewire support, in fact I dusted off reason just to see renoise act as a master.

So basically this post is a big thank you to all you Dev’s and code monkeys. My utmost respect and admiration for a job well done.

And this is the first time ive ever bothered to post anything like this for paid software, so you should feel privileged, I don’t post on digidesign’s forums gushing you know.

Got to go, im getting emotional

I came from a MED background too (hooked since the CU Amiga / AF days). Sad to say, but I can’t imagine going back unless a miracle happens.

Renoise offers a heck of a lot for the price. I want to donate more cash in fact.

Yeah i was using Med back when it was first released (before the public releases actually but i digress) and when i left Amiga i also left tracking behind FOREVER at that point
Little did i know they where gonna come with this mad bastard of an app
I haven’t found any other tracker that fits with my sensibilities because i don’t reallt even like trackers, I love the precise sample manglin that can be done with them but beyond that i find them a PITA to be honest

Well that was until i started using Renoise

Fair play to these guys for tacking the whole tracker idea upto the next level
The future looks bright, The future looks hexidecimal hehehe
