I have a simple question, if anyone could be so kind to respond if you can,
I am using Surge XT as a plugin within Renoise. I want to save a patch in Surge XT, but when I try to type a name for my new patch in Surge XT, Renoise responds as if I am playing notes on the keyboard. Is there a way to temporarily stop Renoise from thinking that my keyboard is for playing notes?
I was having this exact same problem and went to look for the ‘enable keyboard’ checkbox–but it’s not there. Anyone know if this has changed in the last couple years? Is this a Renoise issue or Surge? I’m using the latest Renoise (3.4.4) and Surge on Ubuntu 22.04.
on Windows “Enable Keyboard” checkbox is a bit lower than actual plugin, it’s on the bottom side of a plugin window where the random button is (It works for every VST plugin, not just for Surge)
Thanks @PSG for the up-to-date screenshot. I definitely do not have that option in the Linux window or below the window. Seems like this is a bug report.
