Keyzones: Multisampled Instrument Volumes?

If i understand the new Keyzone editor, one can also define from which to which key velocity a sample is played, so multisampled instruments can now be used with teir full dynamic…
But it’s a hard work to rearrange the “rectangles” so that all samples stack on one key.
If one selects multiple samples and drags them into the keyzone view, they are getting arranged as a drumkit per key if the mouse is over the upper half and per octave if the mouse is over the lower half of the view.
So it would be great if the samples are stacked automatically on one key if the mouse drags the samples over a key from the piano roll…

and one can’t select multiple “rectangles” in the view… so if you want to clear the mapping, you have to select each and delete it - very time-consuming. Or do i miss someting?

Hold the left shift or control/command key while clicking for multiple selections in the keyzone area.
But if you have multiple layers and want to select a specific layer range, you can only select using ctrl/command click when the target layer is overlapping a non-target layer, this is indeed still cumbersome to do.

Ah, thanks, i didn’t noticed that. But it’s much more intuitive to select multiple samples in this way: hold down the mouse button, select a range, release the mouse button - just as one is used to select things…
